I am the co-founder of Elevate Access Solutions and have 15 years of experience working in the blindness field, including the past 12 years specializing in assistive technology. Throughout my career, I have provided personalized training on a wide range of assistive technology, helping individuals who are blind or have low vision develop the skills and confidence to succeed at home, in school, and in the workplace.

For the past three years, I have been a RESNA-certified Assistive Technology Professional, reflecting my commitment to maintaining high standards of knowledge, service, and professional practice. I have worked with children, adults, seniors, and professionals from a variety of backgrounds, combining technical expertise with my own perspective as a person who is blind.

I am passionate about helping others build confidence, increase their independence, and develop the practical skills they need to achieve their personal, educational, and professional goals.

Fernando Macias

I am the co-founder of Elevate Access Solutions and have seven years of experience working with people with disabilities, with a particular focus on blindness, low vision, and assistive technology. Throughout my career, I have provided individualized and group training to help people use accessible technology more effectively at home, in education, and in the workplace.

My experience includes working with screen readers, magnification tools, mobile accessibility features, braille technology, productivity software, and other solutions that support greater independence. I have also conducted assistive technology assessments, developed training programs, and presented on accessibility and emerging technology to clients, professionals, and community organizations.

As someone who is blind, I bring both professional knowledge and lived experience to my work. I understand that effective technology training is not simply about learning commands or features—it is about finding practical solutions that fit the individual, build confidence, and support meaningful personal and professional goals.
